Stark början på året för Catellas hedgefonder

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Januari började bra för Catellas hedgefonder. Samtliga tre alternativa fonder inledde året 2013 med positiv avkastning.

För Catella Focus, med förvaltare Mats A Nilsson, slutade januari månad med en uppgång på 1,53%, jämfört med 0,07% för ränteindexet OMRX T-Bill och 5,50% för SIXRX.

Catella Hedge steg 0,90% under månaden. Sedan staren i mars 2004 har fonden, som förvaltas av Ulf Strömsten, gett en årlig genomsnittlig avkastning på 5,34% till en standardavvikelse på 2,74% (SIXRX 21,06%). Sharpekvoten ligger på respektabla 1,08.

För Catella Nordic Long/Short Equity blev januari ytterligare en positiv avkastningsmånad, med ett resultat på +1,42%, jämfört med VINX Nordic Index +5,63%. Fonden, som förvaltas av radarparet Sven Thorén och Jonas Wikström, har hittills levererat avkastningen till en standardavvikelse på 4,92% (VINX Nordic Index 19,82%).

Inledningen på februari månad har hittills fortsatt i positiv riktning för både Catella Hedge och Catella Nordic Long/Short Equity. Catella Focus har dock hittills under månaden tappat 0,13%.
