87 EUROPEISKA BANKER KAN FÅ SÄNKT KREDITBETYG

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Kreditvärderingsinstitutet Moody’s överväger nedgradera
kredibetyget för subordinated debt, junior subordinated debt och Tier 3 debt för 87 banker från 15 europeiska länder.

Det skriver Moody’s i ett pressmeddelande på tisdagen.

Den möjliga nedgraderingen gäller för banker i europeiska länder där betyget för subordinated debt enligt Moody’s bedömning hålls uppe av förväntningar om offentligt stöd. Detta stöd är enligt Moody’s nu mer osäkert, till följd av mer begränsad finansiell flexibilitet i många europeiska länder och ett nytt ramverk som nu diskuteras i Europa.

Det största antalet av bankerna som kan nedgraderas återfinns i Spanien,
Italien, Österrike och Frankrike.
