SRV Capital Promotes Portfolio Manager, Adds New Analyst

Danish fixed-income boutique SRV Capital has strengthened its investment team following another year of strong growth, promoting analyst Peter Dam Skjærbæk to Portfolio Manager while adding August Rosenkrantz Sønnichsen as a new analyst. The appointments come as the boutique continues to build on a strong track record, growing assets under management and an expanding client base.

Based in Charlottenlund, just north of Copenhagen, SRV Capital was founded by former Nordea colleagues Torben Pedersen and Erik Bo Hansen. The boutique manages the relative-value fixed-income strategy SRV Fixed Income, which has steadily established itself as one of the stronger performers in the Nordic fixed-income hedge fund universe.

After a relatively quiet start following its 2019 launch through 2021, the fund demonstrated its resilience with a 0.6 percent gain in the challenging markets of 2022, when many fixed-income funds posted losses. Performance accelerated thereafter, with returns of 14.3 percent in 2023, 13.9 percent in 2024, and 14.8 percent in 2025. The momentum has continued into 2026, with the fund gaining 7.6 percent through the end of July.

Against the backdrop of rising assets under management and increasing investor demand, SRV Capital has continued to expand its organization. The firm added three employees at the beginning of 2025, including Peter Dam Skjærbæk, who joined as an analyst and will assume the role of Portfolio Manager from the beginning of September. “Peter has been a valued part of SRV Capital as an analyst, and we are very pleased that he will now continue with us in a permanent position,” the team at SRV Capital writes. “Over the past year, Peter has demonstrated strong professional skills and a high level of commitment, and we look forward to following his continued development in his new role.”

“The past few years have been characterised by extraordinarily strong investment results and a significant influx of new capital. This development has kept us busy and created a need to strengthen the organization…”

At the same time, the firm is further strengthening its investment team with the addition of August Rosenkrantz Sønnichsen, who joins as an analyst while pursuing an M.Sc. in Finance and Investments at Copenhagen Business School. Sønnichsen previously worked at KommuneKredit, where he focused on risk monitoring across fixed-income instruments, derivatives, and liquidity.

“The past few years have been characterised by extraordinarily strong investment results and a significant influx of new capital,” the team says. “This development has kept us busy and created a need to strengthen the organization so that we can continue to deliver the quality and service our investors expect,” the team continues. “Therefore, it is a great pleasure to be able to hire a talent that we have helped develop ourselves, while at the same time welcoming another strong profile to SRV Capital.”
