METALLER: KINAS PROD ANDRAHANDSMET SKA ÖKA 60% TILL 2015

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Kinas produktion av så kallade andrahandsmetaller har stigit med cirka 27 procent per år sedan millennieskiftet till totalt 7,5 miljoner ton 2010, och väntas stiga med 60 procent till 12 miljoner ton till 2015.

Det sade Ma Hongchang, vice generalsekreterare vid China Nonferrous Metals Industry Associations metallåtervinningsgren, på tisdagen, rapporterar Bloomberg news.

Produktion av andrahandsmetaller inkluderar återvinning av skrot, såväl som avfall från den primära produktionen.

Vad gäller andrahandskoppar var produktionen 2,4 miljoner ton 2010, upp från 850.000 ton 2002, sade han.

Motsvarande produktion av aluminium steg till 4 miljoner ton från 1,3 miljoner och produktionen av andrahandsbly steg till 1,35 miljoner ton från 170.000 ton.

Under landets tolvårsplan väntas Kina bygga sex-åtta kopparanläggningar för andrahandsproduktion, åtta-tio aluminiumanläggningar och tio anläggningar för
motsvarande produktion av bly.

Planen inkluderar också att starta upp fem återvinningsmarknaden med en kombinerad handelsvolym om mer än 600.000 ton.
