AIMA publicerar guide för val av prime broker

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) –  The Alternative Investment Management Association, AIMA, har publicerat en uppdaterad guide för förvaltare av hedgefonder som ska välja en prime broker. Uppdateringen tar hänsyn till de regulatoriska förändringar som följer av Dodd-Frank lagen i USA och de europeiska AIFMD- och EMIR-direktiven. Guiden reflekterar också de utökade due diligence-kontroller som genomförs på prime brokers sedan den finansiella krisen.

Guiden är tänkt som ett komplement till AIMA Due Diligence Questionnaire for the Selection of a Prime Broker och innehåller hjälp för den som ska välja prime broker, problem som kan uppstå om man väljer att ha mer än en prime broker och vilka regelförändringar som väntas komma på området.
