Nordiska hedgefonder visade fortsatta uppgångar i februari

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Nordiska hedgefonder fortsatte att stiga i februari. Nordic Hedge Index (NHX) steg till indexvärdet 136,57, upp 0,41% under månaden och +2.27% under 2013.

NHX Fixed Income var vinnaren under februari och steg +0,64% under månaden (1,86% YTD). Alla förvaltare i delindexet hade rapporterat sina resultat per den 14 mars.

NHX Equities steg 0.59% (94% rapporterat, +2,82% YTD), Multi-Strategy-fonder var upp 0,31% (83% rapporterat, 0,97% YTD) och fond-i-fonder steg 0,26% (+1,42% YTD) med 2 av 3 fonder som rapporterat sina resultat.

Svagaste delindex under månaden var Managed Futures / CTA, som endast lyckades krama ur en knapp uppgång på 0,06% i februari, men med +3,27% är de fortfarande den starkaste sektorn 2013 hittills (94% rapporterat).

När man bryter ner det på länder, framkommer det att finska förvaltare hade den bästa utvecklingen, upp 1,01% i februari och 5,24% för året, före de norska (0,74% MTD / 3,76% YTD) och svenska förvaltare (0,36% MTD / 1,69% YTD). Danska förvaltare håller fast vid sina färger och levererade de enda negativa resultaten, ner -0,12% i februari (+0,92% YTD).

På fondnivå steg danska Asymmetric Global Macro Fund med +8,76% i februari (+10,33% YTD), finska CTA Estlander & Partners Alpha Trend II – Class P steg 8,3% under månaden (31,02% YTD) och svenska Rhenman Healthcare Equity L/S IC1 (EUR) gav en uppgång på +5,44%, eller +12,08% under 2013.
