Soros-förvaltare startar egen fond

Göteborg (Finwire) – De senaste fyra åren har Scott Bessent varit ansvarig för George Soros förmögenhet på runt 30 miljarder dollar, något som ändras i slutet av 2015 då han lämnar för att starta sin egen hedgefond. Det skriver Bloomberg och hänvisar till ett internt dokument.

Bessent kommer att lansera Key Square Group och i samband med det kommer Soros att investera två miljarder dollar. Anledningen till att Bessent väljer att starta eget uppges vara svårigheterna att ta in kapital under Soros. Den nya fonden uppges komma att vara inriktad mot makroekonomiska trender.

Under Bessents tid hos Soros har han genererat en årlig avkastning runt 13 procent, enligt en källa med insyn.
