Brummer tog revansch i juli

This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Efter ett nedställ i juni var det återigen positiva tongångar bland Brummers hedgefonder under juli. Brummer Multi-Strategy (BMS) visade enligt preliminära siffror på en uppgång på 1 procent. Därmed är fonden, som ger exponering till Brummers samlade fondutbud, upp 4,8 procent på året.

Bland de underliggande fonderna utvecklades CTA-fonden Lynx bäst och steg med 4,1 procent. Året har dock varit besvärligt för den systematiska trendföljaren och sedan årsskiftet är utvecklingen fortfarande negativ efter ett svagt andra kvartal.

London-baserade global makrofonden Canosa är den enda fond som noterat en tvåsiffrig uppgång under året, efter att ha stigit 1,2 procent i juli är fonden upp 11,2 procent sedan årsskiftet. Även Manticore har haft en stark utveckling under 2015 och adderade ytterligare 1,5 procent under månaden för att ta årsavkastningen till 9,7 procent.

Brummers trotjänare Zenit och Nektar utvecklades i olika riktning där Nektar hade en bra månad med en uppgång på 1,2 procent medan Zenit backade 1,8 procent.

Kredithedgefonden Observatory noterade en uppgång om 0,9 procent medan multi-strategi fonden Carve mäktade med en uppgång på 1,2 procent.

MNJ Asia-Pacific Absolute Return Fund backade 1,3 procent. MNJ är en marknadsneutral aktieorienterad hedgefond med bas i Singapore.
