Svårigheter att avveckla Wiborgs Consepio

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Som HedgeFonder.nu  har rapporterat, beslutade Ragnhild Wiborg tidigare i år att stänga ner sin hedgefond Consepio. Dålig avkastning och svag lönsamhet angavs som skäl. I och med avvecklingsbeslutet övergick ansvaret för fonden på förvaringsinstitutet SEB.

SEB meddelade i ett pressmeddelande nyligen att man efter en genomgång av fondförmögenheten tvingats konstatera att delar av tillgångarna är mycket illikvida och förväntas vara svåra att avyttra.

Fonden, som per den 30 april uppgick till 332 miljoner, överläts till förvaringsinstitutet SEB den 8 november. Andelsägarna är därefter förhindrade att sälja eller lösa in andelar i Consepio. I och med de svårigheter som SEB anser föreligger vad gäller avyttringen av de illikvida tillgångarna, riskerar andelsägarna inte bara fastna i sina innehav, utan dessutom drabbas av stora förluster om dessa tillgångar säljs till låga priser i en snabbare avvecklingsprocess.

”Avsaknaden av ett marknadspris för dessa innehav försvårar möjligheterna att göra en realistisk värdering”, säger SEB i pressmeddelandet.
