Stockholm (www.HedgeFonder.nu) – Efter att ha förlorat sammanlagt 10% i maj och juni, vände så trenderna åt rätt håll i juli för Lynx. Resultatet skrevs till +6,83% för juli, vilket gjorde att fonden summerar året per den 31 juli till -1,46%. Inledningen på augusti har dock börjat mer instabilt. Per den 5 augusti har fonden tappat -0,08% under månaden och för -1,53% för helåret.

Även SEBs CTA-fond SEB Asset Selection har haft en stark utveckling senaste månaden, med en uppgång på ca 4%, vilket ger ett helårsresultat på +2,33%. Värt att notera är att volatiliteten för SEB Asset Selection är låga 7,8% i standardavvikelse, vilket gör förvaltningsresultatet än mer imponerande ur ett riskjusterat perspektiv. Lynx har en standardavvikelse som är lägre än MSCI World-index (14,52% jämfört med 15,25%) men trots allt nästan dubbelt så hög som SEB Asset Selection. Hittills i år har Lynx med andra ord inte fått betalt i form av bättre performance för sin högre risk.
