ECB: RÄNTOR BÖR VARA FÖRENLIGA MED EKONOMINS AKTIVITET -TUMPEL

 STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Räntorna bör vara förenliga med den ekonomiska aktiviteten i
euroområdet.

Det sade Gertrude Tumpel-Gugerell, ledamot i ECB:s direktion, i en intervju på
måndagen, rapporterar Bloomberg News.

“Vi måste komma ihåg att vår penningpolitiska hållning fortfarande är
ackommoderande, och att räntenivån naturligtvis måste vara förenlig med nivån på
ekonomisk aktivitet och med hänsyn till riskerna för prisstabiliteten. Dessa
element tillsammans leder till den lämpliga räntenivån”, sade hon.

Hon sade att marknaden är “rätt bra” på att förstå ECB:s kommunikation, även om
hon tillade att ECB gör nya uttalanden varje månad och att de inte åtar sig
något i förväg vad gäller riktningen i penningpolitiken.
