Buffett: Potentiella kronprinsen David Sokol lämnar

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Spekulationerna om vem som ska bli Warren Buffetts efterträdare i holdingbolag Berkshire Hathaway har funnits under en tid. Nu har listan över potentiella kandidater blivit ett namn kortare, rapporteras det i brittisk media. På onsdagen meddelade Buffet i ett brev att David Sokol – av många redan betraktades som kronprins till Buffett och rollen som ordförande i Buffetts företag NetJets – kommer att lämna bolaget och har gått i pension frivilligt.

Även om Buffett betonade att Sokols avgång inte hade något att göra med det aktuella övertagandet av kemikoncernen Lubrizol, nämnde han ändå inte att Sokol första hade köpt aktier i bolaget och sedan hade rekommenderat Warren Buffet att köpa bolaget. Buffett betonade att han inte var av den uppfattningen att Sokol hade brutit mot lagen genom köp av aktier i bolaget. Men Berkshire Hathaways investerar var inte nöjda med det beskedet.
