Länsförsäkringar i nytt samarbete med Standard Life om GARS-fond

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Länsförsäkringar Bank och den globala fondförvaltaren Standard Life Investments meddelar att de kommer att samarbeta om distributionen av Standard Life’s prisbelönta GARS-fond till privata investerare i Sverige.

Distributionsavtalet rörande GARS-fonden är en följd av ett lyckosamt avtal med banken och Standard Life Investments under 2009 om att hantera en Europeisk företagsobligationsportfölj på 230 mEUR.

Åsa Norrie, Standard Life Investments gemensam chef för European Business och chef för Norden, säger: “Vi är mycket glada för att ha säkrat ett distributionsavtal med Länsförsäkringar, efter en rigorös urvalsprocess. Det är glädjande för oss att se den tilltro Länsförsäkringar har i vår investeringsprocess. Vi ser fram emot att hjälpa Länsförsäkringar rulla ut GARS över hela Sverige.”

Annelie Enquist, chef för Fondurval på Länsförsäkringar säger: “Vi följer en rigorös utvärderingsprocess med hög fokus på förvaltarens förmåga att leverera resultat. Vi är nu glada att utse Standard Life Investments för ett globalt absolutavkastningsmandat som uppfyller våra kriterier.”

GARS Lanserades som en brittisk Institutionell Fond 2006 och som SICAV fond 2011. Som HedgeFonder.nu rapporterade om redan i slutet av mars 2011, då Standard Life Investments meddelade att de vunnit det prestigefyllda “Best Absolute Return Fund” på Professional Adviser Awards 2011, har fonden belönats vi flera tillfällen för sina resultat.

Standard Life Investments en av Europas största kapitalförvaltare, med ca 174 miljarder Euro under förvaltning.

Fonden kommer att finnas tillgänglig för privata investerare genom Länsförsäkringars fondplattform.
