Barclay Hedgefund Index negativ sex av de senaste sju månaderna

 Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Hedgefonder tappade 1.04% i november, enligt Barclay Hedge Fund Index, och är nu ner -4.70% under 2011. Fjorton av Barclay’s 18 hedgefondindex gick ner i november. Emerging Markets Index föll 3.21%, Equity Long Bias gick tillbaka med 2.00% och Convertible Arbitrage Index var ner 1.02%.

Hedgefonder har visat negativ avkastning under sex av de senaste sju månaderna, vilket är den längsta negativa trend sedan andra halvan av 2008. Barclay Emerging Markets Index har förlorat 11.56% under 2011. Equity Short Bias Index steg 2.35% i november, Healthcare &  Biotechnology var upp 0.81% och Merger Arbitrage Index steg med 0.49%. Barclay Fund of Funds Index tappade 0.77% i november och är ner 5.46% hittills i år.
