STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Energijätten Enis största oljefält i Libyen, Elephant, kan vara förstört vilket skulle kunna sätta käppar i hjulet för förhoppningar omsnabb återgång till produktion.

Det sade Mustafa Abougfeefa, chef för Enis Libyen-verksamhet, i en intervju med Reuters på onsdagskvällen.

“Vi kan inte lova att fältet kommer att börja producera innan slutet av året. Gaddafis milis har förstört allt”, sade han.

Elephant-fältet producerade innan upproret 130.000 fat råolja per dag.

Vid Enis mindre fält är produktionen redan i gång. Abu Atiffel och Wafa producerar tillsammans 76.000 fat per dag, cirka 30 procent under vad de producerade före kriget.
