Brummer februari – ömsom vin, ömsom vatten…

Powering Hedge Funds

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Februari månad bjöd på både upp- och nedgångar bland Brummerfonderna.

Klart blev i alla fall under månaden att tålamodet var slut för senaste tillskottet Benros, som under sina knappa två år lyckades kosta Brummer Multi-Strategy (BMS) ca -0,5%. BMS säljer sitt innehav i fonden och därmed är nog det äventyret slut för Benros. Under februari tappade man ytterligare -1,0% (2013: -1,5%).

Archipel tappade under månaden -0,5% (2013: -0,2%), liksom Lynx (-0,2%, 2013:+3,4%) som dock hade en fantastisk resa i januari. Även Futuris backade och avslutade februari på -2,3%, vilket gör att man för helåret nu ligger på -0,3%.

Däremot gick det bättre för de övriga fonderna inom Brummer. Tech-fonden Manticore gav +1,6% vilket ger en uppgång på hela 8,3% för 2013. Nektar hade också en bra månad och steg +2,0% och har nu positiv avkastning för helåret (+0,8%). Kreditfonden Observatory steg 0,3% (2013: +1,9%), liksom Zenit (+0,5%) som dock fortfarande har negativt resultat under 2013 med -0,3%.

Brummer Multi-Strategy steg +0,2% under månaden. För 2013 är uppgången +1,8%.
