Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Crypto hedge fund ARK36, founded by an all-Danish team out of Cyprus, has strengthened its team with the hiring of Chris Krokides as Cryptocurrency Trader, Tetyana Martyneko as AML Officer and Marilena Iacovou as Office Manager.

“Chris Krokides, Tetyana Martyneko and Marilena Iacovou are highly skilled individuals. They’re joining ARK36 at a time where our business is expanding to accommodate a high demand from clients, and I’m confident they will make great additions to the team,” comments ARK36’s Chief Operating Officer, Anto Paroian.

Chris Krokides joins ARK36 from Fabriik Crypto Exchange, where he worked within the risk and dealing department. In his previous role, he monitored the exchange’s platform, set up alerts, and helped ensure a smooth running of trading activity on the platform. At ARK36, Krokides will focus on managing the company’s portfolio, performing technical and fundamental analysis, and managing risk through hedging and changing the exposure to fiat currencies.

As an AML Officer, Tetyana Martyneko will focus on ensuring that ARK36 onboards reliable investors. She will be responsible for conducting due diligence and KYC checks on retail and institutional investors seeking to invest in ARK36’s crypto fund. Martyneko worked at PrivatBank, the biggest commercial bank in Ukraine, for over 14 years across various departments, including its overseas branch in Cyprus. She joined ARK36 from fintech payment card company AEON in Cyprus, where she served as a financial consultant and vendor manager.

Marilena Iacovou’s role as Office Manager will involve managing internal workflow schedules, client-related deadlines and client relationships. Her duties will also include maintaining good working relationships with all client contacts, including investment professionals, auditors, lawyers, and banking personnel. Iacovou will also review quarterly and annual financial work packages, quarterly and yearly financial statements, fee calculations, waterfall and capital account allocations.
