Stockholm (HedgeNordic) –  PriorNilsson has joined the independent network forum Swesif in order to further increase its focus on Social Responsible Investments (SRI) and sustainability.

Swesif’s mission is to increase the awareness and knowledge about sustainable investments among its members.

In a comment, PriorNilsson’s head of marketing, Jessica Walter, says: ”We have joined Swesif in order to become more engaged in questions related to sustainable investments. We will continue to exclude companies that do not comply with international conventions and we look forward to participating in events organised by Swesif in order to exchange ideas and contribute with our experience regarding sustainable investments.”

Swesif started in 2003 and currently has around 40 members.

The Swedish asset manager PriorNilsson has two hedge funds in its program, PN Yield running a fixed income strategy and PN Idea, a concentrated L/S equity fund.  Realinvest, another fund in the alternative space, is an equity fund allocating  to companies with a large share of real assets, such as companies in the real estate, forestry, raw material or power industries.
