Pershing Square var bästa större hedgefond 2014

Göteborg (FinWire) – Miljardären och aktivistinvesteraren Bill Ackman står nu 48 år gammal på toppen av sin karriär. Hans hedgefond Pershing Square International gav en avkastning på 32,8 procent under de tio första månaderna 2014. Det ger fonden förstaplatsen i Bloomberg Markets årliga ranking av de största hedgefonderna med bäst utveckling.

Den avkastningen uppnåddes innan budstriden om Allergan avgjordes i november. Vid årets slut hade Pershing Square International nått ytterligare 10 procent avkastning.

Bill Ackman har nu 18 miljarder dollar under förvaltning, en rejäl ökning jämfört med 11,5 miljarder dollar ett år tidigare.
