EFSF: Emission av 20-åriga obligationer “succé”

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Den europeiska stödfonden EFSF:s första emission av 20-åriga obligationer på måndagen var en “succé”.

Det sade EFSF-chefen Klaus Regling på måndagskvällen, enligt Bloomberg News.

EFSF tog in 1,5 miljarder euro vid måndagens emission av 20-åriga obligationer. Räntan sattes 115 punkter över swapräntan och bud inkom för 4,8 miljarder euro. EFSF har tidigare sålt tre-, fem- och tioåriga obligationer samt växlar med kortare löptider.

“Vi har nu demonstrerat att vi verkligen kan emittera i hela löptidsintervallet. Detta var ytterligare en succé”, sade Klaus Regling.

Han sade tidigare också att han är optimistisk om att euroområdet är på väg att ta sig ur statsskuldkrisen efter framgångar med att tackla nationella budgetunderskott. Klaus Regling sade att Irland och Portugal nu återuppbygger sina fiskala positioner medan Italien bygger upp sin ekonomi för att inte behöva söka ekonomisk hjälp. Grekland, som nyligen fått ett andra stödpaket beviljat, är ett “mycket speciellt fall”, enligt EFSF-chefen.

“Vi rör oss bort från krisen, inte i morgon, men vi rör oss i rätt riktning.
Situationen på marknaderna har förbättrats, men många är oroade för att detta bara är ännu ett temporärt lugn och att krisen kan intensifieras igen. Jag är mer optimistisk”, sade Klaus Regling.
