    Brummer Multi Strategy slutade året på plus

    Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Brummerfamiljens fond-i-fond-produkt Brummer Multi Strategy landade helåret 2011 på en – efter omständigheterna – dräglig avkastningsnivå om +3,03%, efter en avslutande uppgång på 0,66% under december.

    Främsta bidragsgivare till årsavkastningen var denna gång tech-fonden Manticore, som på senare tid stängt stockholmskontoret och helt fokuserat på det amerikanska teamet som lyckats mycket väl med sin förvaltning. Manticore steg med hela 21,43% under året, vilket kan jämföras med fondens jämförelseindex MSCI World NDTR som under samma period backade -5,49%.

    En av de övriga dominerande bidragsgivarna under året var också stabila macrofonden Nektar, som kunde stänga böckerna för 2011 med en uppgång på 7,60%. Nektar har en genomsnittlig årsavkastning sedan start på 12,66%, men med tanke på de utmaningar som funnits på såväl micro- som macronivå under året kan man nog tänka sig att förvaltarteamet ändå känner sig tämligen nöjda med detta resultat.

    Gamla trotjänarna på Zenit lyckades inte leverera ett positivt resultat under året, utan landade på -4,01%. Även ett par av nytillskotten i Brummer-gruppen hade det besvärligt, så som Orvent (-7,29%) och de f.d. Goldman Sachs-förvaltarna på Benros (-1,7%, est.).

    Brummer Multi Strategy har en genomsnittlig årsavkastning på 8,28% sedan start med en standardavvikelse på låga 4,42% och låg korrelation till de flesta tillgångsslag. Sharpe-kvoten uppgår till 1,35%. Fondförmögenheten uppgick till ca 29,8 miljarder SEK per 30 november 2011.
