ECB: SÄNKER STYRRÄNTAN TILL 1,25%

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Europeiska centralbankens råd beslutade på torsdagen att sänka styrräntan, refiräntan, med 25 punkter till 1,25 procent.

Det meddelade ECB vid en telefonkonferens.

I Bloomberg News enkät bland 54 tillfrågade analytiker trodde 48 att räntan skulle lämnas oförändrad, fyra räknade med en sänkning med 25 punkter till 1,25 procent och två spådde en sänkning med 50 punkter till 1,00 procent.

Refinansieringsräntan ändrades senast den 7 juli 2011, då den höjdes med 25 punkter till 1,50 procent.

Samtidigt ändrar ECB sin räntekorridor. Depositräntan sänks till 0,50 procent (0,75), medan utlåningsräntan sänks till 2,00 procent (2,25).
