STING Capital investerar i Antrad Medical

Powering Hedge Funds

STING Capital investerar 1,5 MSEK i medtechbolaget Antrad Medical, som har tagit fram en ny teknik för att snabbt och säkert tina blodplasma. I kapitaliseringen om totalt 7,25 MSEK deltar även Innovationsbron och affärsänglar. Pengarna ska användas till att ta företagets produkter till marknaden.

Antrad Medical har utvecklat en teknik som på ett snabbt och hygieniskt sätt värmer blodplasma med hjälp av ett elektriskt fält. Med en unik och enkel fältutjämnare säkerställer företaget att plasman värms homogent. Företaget grundades 2008 och är baserat på forskning framtagen av Lars Ekemar, CTO på företaget.

Om STING Capital

Riskkapitalfonden STING Capital har bildats av affärsinkubatorn STING (Stockholm Innovation & Growth AB) och Innovationsbron. Övriga investerare är affärsänglar från nätverket STING Business Angels, Pod Venture Partner, Folksam, Östersjöstiftelsen, ALMI Stockholm, Länsförsäkringar Stockholm, Peder Sager Wallenbergs Stiftelse, Allba Invest, TageHus Förvaltning och KTH Holding. STING Capital investerar i innovativa teknikbolag i tidiga skeden och med stor internationell potential. STING Capital investerar normalt 1–4 Mkr per bolag och är oftast första externa investeraren i bolaget.
