This year’s Alternative Fixed Income report from HedgeNordic explores how institutional investors and asset managers are navigating this new reality, balancing yield and resilience amid shifting credit cycles, structural change, and evolving sources of return.

Stockholm (www.HedgeFonder.nu) – Med “Rising 6” lanserar FMG en ny fond som investerar i likvida noterade instrument inom aktier och börshandlade fonder. Den luxemburgbaserade UCITS III-fonden eftersträvar att göra investeringar i BRIC-länderna (Brasilien, Ryssland, Indien och Kina) samt Afrika och Mellanöstern. Denna geografiska exponering täcker nästan fyra miljarder människor, över 60% av världens befolkning.

Fondförvaltaren har en regional fördelning från lägst 10% till maximalt 25% för ett visst land eller region. För närvarande är tillgångarna tämligen jämnt fördelade, den minsta allokeringen i Ryssland och Indien (16,3%) och den största i Kina (17,1%).

Efter den inledande perioden av förvaltning sedan starten visar fonden en korrelation nära noll till MSCI Emerging Market Index. FMG har länge varit aktiva inom Emering Market-regionen och har t.ex. investerat i Ryssland sedan 1995, Kina sedan 1996 och Indien sedan 2002.
