AlfaKrafts CTA-fond upp 9,89% i april

Stockholm (www.HedgeFonder.nu) – Svensk hedgefondförvaltaren AlfaKraft, som är specialiserad på hedgefonder baserad på kvantitativ analys (s.k. trendföljande-/CTA-fond) som investerar i energi och råvaror, rapporterade starka resultat i april. En av deras hedgefonder, ALFA-Commodity Fund, är upp 9,89% under månaden.

AlfaKraft förvaltar två hedgefonder, Alfa Commodity Fund och Alfa Energy Fund, som är upp 2,0% i april. Performance  för ALFA Commodity Fund är +12,47% hittills i år och Alfa Energy Fund är +9,56% under motsvarande period.

“Det starka resultatet för ALFA Commodity Fund senaste månaden beror på uppåtgående trender i metaller, speciellt i silver”. Chefer Thomas Stridsman och Bengt Lindblad skriver i sin månadsrapport för April, “Medan de flesta av våra konkurrenter bland CTA-fonder har haft en besvärlig tid, rapporterar AlfaKraft positiva resultat för båda sina hedgefonder, som också har överträffat Newedge CTA Trend delindex (www.barclayhedge.com). “

AlfaKraft grundades 1998 och investerar i energi och råvaror samt terminer, fonder, valutor, räntor och aktieindex. Under överinseende av den svenska Finansinspektionen sedan 1999, har hedgefonden erbjudit institutioner och privatpersoner en möjlighet att addera alternativa investeringar i sin portfölj.
