Record sales of Alternative Investment firms YTD says Jefferies Putnam Lovell

Jefferies Putnam Lovell reported that the sales of hedge funds account for 40% of deals  in the investment industry, which is up from 32% in 2007. In April 2008, hedge funds participated in 29 of the 73 transactions that were planned.
