Back at Öhman: Full Circle for Atlant PM

Carl Johan Lagercrantz, a fixed-income portfolio manager at alternative fund boutique Atlant Fonder, has joined Lannebo Fonder as a high-yield portfolio manager. The firm has been part of Öhman Group following a friendly takeover in 2024. The move marks a return to the Öhman platform for Lagercrantz, who began his career at Öhman Fonder before leaving the firm around 12 years ago.

“12 years ago, I left Öhman Fonder to immerse myself in the Nordic corporate bond market. The years have completely rushed by, and I am eternally grateful for all the knowledge and the network I have gained on my journey,” says Lagercrantz in a post on LinkedIn. “Today, a new chapter begins as I come back to Öhman Gruppen and Lannebo. I take on the role of High Yield Portfolio Manager. The circle is closed.”

Lagercrantz started his career in mid-2008 at Öhman Group, where he spent nearly six years before moving to Swedbank in a high-yield sales role. He later transitioned into portfolio management at Cicero Fonder, followed by a nearly six-year tenure at Strand Kapitalförvaltning as a fixed-income portfolio manager. Most recently, he joined Atlant Fonder in 2025, before now returning to Lannebo Fonder.

Atlant Fonder has been looking to add a credit analyst or portfolio manager to strengthen its team, reflecting the central role of credit strategies in its investment approach. Corporate bonds across investment grade, high yield, and unrated segments form a cornerstone of Atlant Fonder’s portfolios. Atlant Fonder manages eight funds across a range of strategies, including market-neutral approaches, with assets under management of €1 billion as of the end of February.
