Ridge Capital Builds Out Investment Team

Stockholm-based boutique manager Ridge Capital has strengthened its investment team with the appointments of Oliver Eliassen as Senior Portfolio Analyst and Olivia Berg Wadsten as Junior Portfolio Analyst. Both have joined the firm this summer, adding experienced Nordic high-yield research expertise alongside junior talent. The team will grow further in September with the addition of Ludvig Kapanen as Senior Portfolio Analyst, taking Ridge Capital’s investment team to five members, all focused on the firm’s single-fund strategy.

“Nordic high yield is under-researched and largely unrated, so it truly rewards real bottom-up work,” says Måns Levin, co-founder and CEO of Ridge Capital. “Oliver brings a decade of research experience, and Olivia is a talent we found and are developing, since she impressed us during her internship. Both Oliver and Olivia fit the way we work: dig into credit, build conviction across the investment team, and stay aligned with our investors’ goals.”

Eliassen, a CFA charterholder, holds an MSc in Business Administration and Economics from Copenhagen Business School. He joins Ridge Capital from Pareto Securities, where he spent around five years as a credit research analyst covering the Nordic high-yield market. Berg Wadsten holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and is beginning her career at Ridge Capital after impressing the team during her internship at the firm.

“Ridge Capital has shown that an active, high-conviction approach really pays off in Nordic high yield.”

“Ridge Capital has shown that an active, high-conviction approach really pays off in Nordic high yield,” says Oliver Eliassen. “It is a great opportunity to join a team with this track record at this stage of its growth.” Olivia Berg Wadsten says the opportunity to work in a market where many issuers receive limited analyst coverage was a key attraction. “In a market where most issuers are unrated and thinly covered, the analysis has to be built from the documentation up. That is the part of credit I find most interesting, and it’s what Ridge is set up to do,” she says.

Founded in late 2022, Ridge Capital is an independent alternative asset manager specializing in an actively managed, concentrated portfolio of Nordic high-yield bonds. Its fund, launched in January 2023, has delivered a net annualized return of about 13 percent and passed its three-year anniversary at the beginning of 2026.
