Sector Establishes London Marketing Presence

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Sector Asset Management is establishing marketing presence in London with the hiring of Charlotte Gibson as Investor Relations Director. She joins Maggie Yang as Sector’s second investor relations director outside the Nordics.

Charlotte Gibson has 10 years of experience within the asset management industry, having most recently worked at Edgbaston Investment Partners, a long-only boutique specializing in Asia Pacific ex-Japan equities. During her seven-year tenure at Edgbaston, Gibson focused on client service and business development, working with institutional clients across the US and UK. She began her career at Schroders in the product development team, which was responsible for the management of the UK and Luxembourg-domiciled fund ranges.

With $3.4 billion in assets under management, Sector Asset Management currently houses five independent investment teams, including a London-based team focused on emerging market equities. Each boutique is jointly owned by its investment team and Sector Asset Management, with two of these teams managing hedge funds included in the Nordic Hedge Index: Sector Healthcare Fund and Sector Zen Fund.
