Formuepleje Appoints New Board Members

Powering Hedge Funds

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Danish asset manager Formuepleje appoints Jesper Rangvid and Dorte Ransby as new members of its Board of Directors. Rangvid is a Professor of Finance at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) who Chairs the Danish independent expert council for Return Expectations, while Ransby has a long track record of stakeholder management and board governance in medium to large corporates.

Dorte has spent the last 20 years working with fintech and insurance, most recently as EVP at Codan with responsibility for business development and IT. Jesper is recognized as one of Denmark’s leading financial experts both via his professorship at CBS and as the head of a number of financial committees and bodies,” communicates Kirstine Damkjær, Chair of Formuepleje’s Board. “I am very much looking forward to the collaboration both within the board and with our new CEO Peter Kjærgaard, as well as the rest of the management.”

In addition to his professorship and his board position at CBS, Jesper Rangvid has experience from a wide range of current and former board positions in the financial sector. Jesper chairs the Council for Return Expectations, is a member of the Board of Directors at Finansiel Stabilitet (the Danish Financial Resolution Authority), Advantage Investment Partners, Copenhagen Business School, and Grandhood, is a member of the Advisory Board (Investments) of Forenet Kredit. In 2012-2013, he chaired the government-appointed committee that investigated the causes and consequences of the financial crisis in Denmark. In Denmark, the report is referred to as the “Rangvid-report.” Rangvid’s blog posts on various topics in finance and economics are also made available in the “Voices” section on HedgeNordic.
