Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Former Nordea executive Thorben Sander has joined the advisory board of London-based fintech Titanbay, an investment platform that enables small and medium-sized institutional investors to access a curated selection of private equity funds. Sander, former Global Head of Private Banking at Nordea, joins Titanbay’s global advisory board and its journey of democratizing private equity investing.

Titanbay’s platform offers smaller investors access to top-tier private equity and alternative funds by reducing the minimum commitment needed to invest in the space and the large amount of paperwork associated with these investments. Thorben Sander’s experience in wealth management and private banking will support and expand Titanbay’s partnerships offering that enables wealth managers and private banks to provide a comprehensive private markets-focused offering to their clients.

“We are delighted to welcome Thorben to our advisory board at what is an exciting time of rapid expansion for our business.”

“We are delighted to welcome Thorben to our advisory board at what is an exciting time of rapid expansion for our business,” says Thomas Eskabaek, CEO of Titanbay. “His track record within financial services, and particularly private banking, speaks for itself, and I look forward to working closely with him on our partnerships offer as we seek to build out our relationships with wealth managers and private banks globally.”

“I am privileged to work with Thomas and the team at Titanbay, who are truly leading the way in bringing best-in-class private markets offerings to a wider audience.”

“I am privileged to work with Thomas and the team at Titanbay, who are truly leading the way in bringing best-in-class private markets offerings to a wider audience,” comments Thorben Sander. “The enormous potential in this space is broadly acknowledged but very hard to capture given the complexity of the business and competences needed to execute,” he continues. “The senior team at Titanbay has built a professional and seamless platform, meeting the high standards of top performing General Partners as well as leading Private Banks.”
