Danske Asset Management Strengthens Frankfurt Institutional Team

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) – Danske Asset Management has appointed Dr. Ilona Wachter as director of business development, joining the Danish asset manager’s team in Frankfurt effective as of the beginning of October. Wachter is expected to contribute to the expansion of the institutional business at Danske Asset Management and will report to Marc Homsy, head of capital investment management at the group.

Ilona Wachter has more than 27 years of experience in the financial industry, predominantly focusing on the institutional sector. She joined Danske Asset Management from Assenagon Asset Management, where she worked as managing director of institutional sales from February 2016 to June of this year. Previously Wachter was responsible for the institutional businesses at a number of asset managers including Austrian fund company Spängler IQAM Invest, Muzinich & Co, BNP Paribas Investment Partners and Quoniam Asset Investment.

“We are excited about IIlona joining our team. We and our customers will benefit from her extensive knowledge and experience in our ambition to expand our institutional business,” Marc Homsy told HedgeNordic about the appointment of Ilona Wachter.
