Visio names Kauppi new CEO

Stockholm (HedgeNordic) –  Helsinki based  Visio Asset Management has appointed a new CEO, Marko Kauppi, who will also become a partner in the firm. Kauppi is taking over responsibilities from former CEO,  Petri Tuutti who will be focusing more on portfolio management.

The firms only fund, VISIO Allocator, is an absolute return fund with a focus on Northern European equity markets and was distinguished as “Best Nordic Multi-Strategy Fund 2017” at the Nordic Hedge Award in April 2018.

“I am very happy to have Marko on board to take the responsibility as CEO and further grow the company and execute Visio’s strategy”, says Tuutti.

Visio Asset Management is an independent investment management company managing over 200 million euros of assets. Visio was founded in 2009 and majority of the company is owned by the employees.

Kamran joined a multi-family office managing their own fund of hedgefunds with 400 million USD AuM in 2009. Kamran has worked and lived in Vienna, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Stockholm. Born in 1974, Kamran today again lives in Vienna, Austria.
