Carlyle söker 5 miljarder dollar till ny fond

Göteborg (FinWire) – Carlyle Group håller nu på att ta in upp till 5 miljarder dollar i en fond som ska äga andelar i företag i upp till 20 år. Det är inte det första private equity-bolaget som nu siktar på att investera på längre sikt, skriver Bloomberg.

Nyligen rapporterades att Blackstone Group har vänt sig till sina största fondinvesterare för att söka kapital till en ny typ av investeringsfond med längre placeringshorisont än den typiska private equity-fonden med en tioårig livslängd.

I likhet med Blackstone kommer Carlyle ta ut lägre avgifter i sin nya fond. Förvaltningsavgiften kommer att ligga på 1 procent samt en prestationsavgift på 15 procent av vinsterna.
