Brummer avvecklar Archipel

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – Brummer Multi-Strategy (BMS) har beslutat att lösa in sina andelar i Archipel. Bakgrunden till beslutet är att fonden under de senaste åren inte har levt upp till förväntningarna.

Som en följd av detta beslut har styrelsen i Archipel Asset Management AB beslutat att upphöra med den aktiva förvaltningen av fonden Archipel Master. Fondportföljen avvecklas nu under ordnade former och andelsägare belastas från och med måndagen den 13 oktober inte längre av någon förvaltningsavgift.

I en kommentar till beslutet skriver BMS förvaltare Klaus Jäntti (bild): “Åren 2008 till 2009, under och efter finanskrisen, gav Archipel värdefulla bidrag till BMS i en turbulent omvärld. De senaste åren har fonden dock inte levt upp till förväntningarna och vi bedömer att Archipel saknar en långsiktig förmåga att bidra till BMS. Eftersom vårt uppdrag är att ständigt förbättra BMS har vi beslutat att lösa in våra andelar.”

Detta är den andra fonden under kort tid där BMS väljer att lösa in sina andelar. Den 9 september meddelade BMS beslutet att lösa in sina andelar i Futuris.

Per den 30 september hade Archipel en fondförmögenhet på 5090 MSEK.
