Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – Martin Sandquist, medgrundare av Lynx Asset Management och en av Lynx-fondens sex förvaltare har beslutat sig för att lämna bolaget. Detta framgår av Lynx investerarbrev som presenterades i samband med halvårsrapporten.

Martin grundade tillsammans med Svante Bergström och Jonas Bengtsson Lynx Asset Management 1999 och har utvecklat ett flertal av de modeller som används i förvaltningen. Innan dess var Martin kvantitativ analytiker på Nordea och utsågs till huvudansvarig för den dagliga handeln inom proprietary trading när enheten bildades 1996.

I en kommentar skriver Lynx; “Martin har varit en fantastisk arbetskamrat och vi kommer att sakna honom och hans gedigna kunskaper om marknadens funktionssätt. Återstående fem fondförvaltare kommer att fortsätta arbetet i investeringskommittén och investeringsprocessens struktur kommer inte påverkas av att Martin slutar. Martin har även suttit i styrelsen för Lynx Asset Management AB och kommer där att ersättas av vår COO Marcus Andersson.”
