Catella vinner pris för bästa long/short credit fond

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – Vid UCITS Hedge Awards 2014 tilldelades Catella priset för bästa Long/Short Credit Fund med sin Catella Corporate Bond Flex.

Catella Nordic Corporate Bond Flex är en aktivt förvaltad företagsobligationsfond med nordiskt fokus. Fonden erbjuder en diversifierad portfölj av företagsobligationer där förvaltarna arbetar aktivt med kapitalbevarande strategier för att skydda andelsvärdet mot ränte- och kreditrisk. Under 2013 avkastade fonden 7,79% med en standardavvikelse under året på 0,77% räknat på daglig data. Ansvarig förvaltare för fonden är Fredrik Tauson (bild) som i en kommentar till 2013 års avkastning säger:

“Rätt mix av företagsobligationer bidrog till 2013 års avkastning. Såväl kapitalvinster som löpande kupongavkastning bidrog positivt. Tack vare fondens flexibilitet hade vi också möjlighet att skydda oss mot stigande marknadsräntor. En väldiversifierad portfölj med få negativa överraskningar på såväl bolagsnivå som makronivå medverkade till fondens låga volatilitet. Framåtblickande tror vi på att fortsätta investera selektivt och med försiktighet. En portfölj av företagsobligationer erbjuder alltjämt en bra risk /avkastningsprofil jämfört med traditionellt räntesparande. Vi kommer fortsätta att arbeta aktivt med fondens flexibilitet avseende ränte- och kreditskydd”.
