Hedgefonder fick inflöden på 4.1 miljarder i september

Stockholm (HedgeNordic.com) – BarclayHedge och TrimTabs Investment Research rapporterar att hedgefondindustrin under september månad uppskattas fått inflöden på 4.1 miljarder dollar och därmed rapporterar inflöden för tredje månaden i rad. Denna uppskattning baseras på data från 3340 fonder.

Hedgefondindustrin har fått inflöden på 51.6 miljarder dollar under 2013 vilket är en stark ”turnaround” jämfört med de utflöden på 2.6 miljarder dollar som skedde under samma period förra året säger Sol Waksman grundare av BarclayHedge. Industrins kapital under förvaltning nådde ett nytt femårshögsta under september tillägger Waksman.

TrimTabs/BarclayHedge Hedge Fund Flow Report noterar att hedgefondindustrins kapital under förvaltning är upp 10.3% under 2013. Den totala förvaltade tillgångsmassan är däremot 17.9% under toppnoteringen på 2.4 triljarder som uppmättes i juni 2008.
