Uppåt för samtliga Brummer-fonder i juli

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Juli månad brukar vara lika med semestertider i Sverige och många andra länder, då mycket av finansvärlden går ner på lågvarv, men i år verkar åtminstone Brummers hedgefondförvaltare ha jobbat hårt. Samtliga singelstrategifonder levererade positiv avkastning under månaden.
Efter juni månad, som var en väsentligt mer stökig period i marknaden och utmanande miljö för alla förvaltare, kom så uppsvinget som många hoppades på. Rapportperioden kom in tillräckligt väl i linje med förväntningarna för att marknaden skulle gilla det man såg och höja kurserna på bred front.
Brummers fonder lyckades surfa uppåt på vågen: de stora vinnarna var Carve och Manticore (båda +2,5%) samt Futuris, Archipel och nytillskottet Canosa (+2,1%, +2,0% samt +1,9%).
Manticore har i och med juli månads uppgång levererat goda +19,5% hittills i år, vilket är bäst bland samtliga fonder inom gruppen. Som god tvåa kommer nystartade Carve 2 med +8,7%.
Trots goda månadsresultat finns det tre fonder inom Brummer som fortfarande visar röda siffror för 2013: den marknadsneutrala Archipel (-0,5%), Futuris (-2,7%), samt Zenit (-0,2%).
Den trendföljande CTA-fonden Lynx lyckades med månadsresultatet +0,6% nu leta sig upp över nollstrecket för 2013 och har i år gått upp med just 0,6%.
Brummer Multi-Strategy steg med +1,5% (2013: +3,5%).
