East Capital Explorer väntas erhålla 14,2 miljoner euro från stängd fond

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) East Capital Explorer väntas erhålla 14,2 miljoner euro från East Capital Power Utilities Fund inom en vecka, från fredagen, som därefter omgående kommer att vara tillgängliga för framtida investeringar.

Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande.

Fondens förvaltare har beslutat att stänga fonden tidigare än beräknat och de återstående medlen beräknas distribueras under den första delen av 2013.

“På grund av ökade regulatoriska risker, statlig inblandning och otydlighet gällande vilken riktning sektorreformen kommer att ta har vi nu beslutat oss för
att stänga fonden. Vi tror att det fortfarande kan finnas selektiva investeringsmöjligheter inom kraftsektorn men dock inte tillräckligt många för en separat strategi”, säger Peter Elam Håkansson, representant för förvaltaren.

Per den 30 november 2012 var värdet på East Capital Explorers innehav i fonden 25,4 miljoner euro, motsvarande 9 procent av bolagets substansvärde.

Investeringen har genererat en begränsad årlig avkastning före skatt på -2,6 procent för East Capital Explorer sedan investeringen gjordes.
