Fitch Ratings höjer Turkiets kreditbetyg

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Fitch Ratings höjer Turkiets kreditbetyg för långfristig valutaupplåning till BBB-, Från BB+. Betyget uppgraderas därmed till “investment grade”, och utsikterna bedöms vara stabila.

Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande.

“Uppgraderingen till investment grade speglar en kombination av minskade makrofinansiella risker på kort sikt i takt med att ekonomin går in för en mjuklandning, och underliggande kreditstyrka inklusive en måttlig och minskande statlig skuldbörda, ett sunt banksystem, gynnsamma tillväxtutsikter på medellång sikt och en relativt rik och diversifierad ekonomi”, skriver Fitch.

Enligt kreditvärderingsinstitutet är den turkiska ekonomin på väg tillbaka mot en uthållig tillväxtbana, underskottet i bytesbalansen har minskat och inflationen har gått ner efter överhettning under 2011.

Enligt Fitch prognos ökar Turkiets BNP med 3 procent 2012, 3,8 procent 2013 och 4,5 procent 2014.
