ECB sänka styrräntan till 0,75%

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Europeiska centralbankens råd beslutade på torsdagen att sänka styrräntan refiräntan, med 25 punkter till 0,75 procent.

Det meddelade ECB vid en telefonkonferens.

I Bloomberg News enkät bland 62 tillfrågade analytiker räknade tio med att räntan skulle lämnas oförändrad på 1,00 procent, fem trodde att räntan skulle sänkas med 50 punkter, medan 47 trodde på en sänkning med 25 punkter.

Refinansieringsräntan ändrades senast den 8 december 2011, då den sänktes med 25 punkter till 1,00 procent.

Samtidigt ändrar ECB sin räntekorridor. Depositräntan sänks till 0,00 procent (0,25), medan utlåningsräntan sänks till 1,50 procent (1,75).
