Nytt all time high för Rhenman Healthcare Equity L/S i juni

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – Den svenskförvaltade hedgefonden Rhenman Healthcare Equity L/S, med ansvarige förvaltaren Henrik Rhenman i spetsen, steg med +6,00% (EUR) under juni månad och nådde därmed ett nytt all time high. Det skriver förvaltaren i det senaste månadsbrevet för juni. Innevarande år har fonden stigit med +18,19%.
Fonden är helt fokuserad på den globala hälso- och sjukvårdssektorn, med huvudfokus på USA. Portföljen består av 60-80 olika börsnoterade innehav, valda utifrån ett placeringsunivers bestående av cirka 500 företag. Fonden har som målsättning att leverera +12% avkastning per år.

Sedan fondstarten den 22:a juni 2009 har fonden stigit +59,07% (EUR). Euribor 90-dagar har under samma period stigit +3,17%. Rhenman Healthcare Equity L/S rankas av facktidskriften Eurohedge som nummer ett bland mer än 75 hedgefonder i kategorin Global Equity (februari 2012).

Den årliga avkastningen har varit tämligen jämn – och inte minst, positiv – sedan starten för ca 3 år sedan, trots den volatila utvecklingen på många marknader under samma period. Avkastningen för den absolutavkastande fonden för varje år bakåt i tiden är: 2009 (1/2 år) +13%, 2010 +8%, 2011 +10%.
