FMG lanserar Mongolia Fund

Stockholm (HedgeFonder.nu) – FMG, specialist på tillväxtmarknadsinvesteringar, har lanserat en ny fond med fokus på Mongoliet – världens snabbast växande ekonomi.

De flesta bedömare rankar Mongoliet som den snabbast växande ekonomin de kommande åren.  Den har enorm potential och drivs av stora naturtillgångar som dessutom gynnas av att finnas alldeles intill den största konsumenten av dem alla, Kina.

 Fonden har huvudsakligen exponering mot lokalt listade mongoliska bolag (MSE).  Fonden investerar i 10-20 aktier, företrädelsevis de med störst omsättning. De viktigaste sektorerna den mongoliska ekonomin är gruv-, konsument- och konstruktion.  Landet anses ha världens största fyndigheter av kol, koppar, guld, uran och järn.

Sektorallokering: Finans 4%, Fastigheter 5%, Entreprenad 10%, Konsument 39%, Gruvindustri  42%.
De fem största innehaven är  APU, Remicon, Sharyn Gol, Tavan Tolgoi, Talkh Chikher.

London Stock Exchange (LSE) har anlitats för att bistå i uppgraderingen av den mongoliska börsen, som kommer att få samma standard som London inom tre år. LSE räknar med att MSE kommer att öka från ca USD3bn till USD45bn inom 10 år.
