Hedgefonder rapporterar positivt nettoinflöde för sjätte månaden i rad

Stockholm (www.HedgeFonder.nu) – Den globala hedgefondbranschens förvaltade tillgångar minskade till 1806 biljoner USD i juni (ned från 1822 triljoner USD föregående månad) på grund av avkastningen, Barclay Hedge Fund index backade 1 % i juni. Dock lyckades hedgefonder världen över att ta in 3,8 miljarder USD i nytt kapital under juni, enligt BarclayHedge and Trim Tabs Investments Research. Detta var elfte månaden inom de senaste tolv med positivt nettoinflöde och sjätte månaden i rad då hedgefondsförvaltare tog in nya pengar från investerare.

Inom branschen såg man de största inflödena i multistrategifonder, vilka tog in 15,2 miljarder USD i nya tillgångar under de första sex månaderna av 2011. Räntebaserade hedgefonder, i relation till dess del av branschen, lyckades än bättre och tog in 15,1 miljarder USD. Räntebaserade hedgefonder visade också positiv avkastning, 4,9 % under första halvan av året. Och trots något av den sämsta avkastningen i branschen, så lyckades global makro samt tillväxtmarknadshedgefonder också generera signifikanta nettoinflöden.
