STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Berkshire Hathaway, med Warren Buffet i spetsen, investerar 5 miljarder dollar i Bank of America i en riktad emission av 50.000 preferensaktier för 100.000 dollar styck. Den årliga utdelningen uppgår till 6 procent.

Det framgår av ett pressmeddelande.

I samband med överenskommelsen har Berkshire Hathaway fått warranter som ger bolaget möjlighet att köpa 700 miljoner aktier (common stock) i banken för 7:142857 dollar styck under en tioårsperiod.

Bank of America-aktien stiger 27 procent till 8:88 dollar i den amerikanska förhandeln på beskedet.
