Stockholm (www.HedgeFonder.nu) – Som Hedgenordic rapporter har Brummerfonden Avenir tagits bort från det nordiska Hedgefondindexet (NHX) som en följd av att fonden har avvecklats.

Styrelsen för Avenir Fondbolag har beslutat att avveckla Special Mutual Fund Avenir per den 8:e juli 2011. Alla köp och inlösen av andelar i fonden har stoppats. Brummer Multi Strategy har avvecklat sitt innehav i fonden, något som Hedgefonder.nu har rapporterat om tidigare.
Bakgrunden till beslutet var att Avenir inte har uppfyllt förväntningarna på avkastningen. Brummer Multi-Strategy har cirka 85% av substansvärdet i Avenir.

Tillgångarna i fonden skall omvandlas till kontanter och fondens skulder skall betalas snarast möjligt. Resterande tillgångar skall skiftas ut till andelsägarna i förhållande till deras andelsinnehav. Tillgångarna skall vara utbetalda till andelsägarna senast den 23:e augusti 2011. Andelsägarna skall underrättas om beslutet skriftligen och fondförvaltningsbolaget kommer att upprätta en slutredovisning av avvecklingsförfarandet som skall skickas till andelsägarna, skriver Avenir i ett uttalande.
