YENFÖRSTÄRKNING BEROENDE AV EUROPAUTVECKLING

STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Utvecklingen i Europa behöver bevakas eftersom det kan göra att yenen apprecierar ytterligare. Yenen kan komma att förstärkas om riskaversionen tilltar.

Det sade Sayuri Shirai, ledamot i Bank of Japan, på onsdagen enligt Bloomberg News.

Hon sade att Europas kris kan komma att påverka Japan via marknaderna, och att det är bäst att anta att marknadsoron kommer att bestå. Exporten kan också komma att tyngas av utvecklingen i Europa.

Japan väntas återgå till en återhämtning med stöd av återuppbyggnaden efter jordbävningen, men Japans ekonomi kommer att påverkas av yenen och den globala inbromsningen.

Hon sade också att Japans finansmarknader i stort sett är stabila.
