STOCKHOLM (Direkt) Erik Penser meddelar att Joachim Spetz från och med fredagenersätter Peter Melbi som varit vd i Erik Penser Bankaktiebolag sedan 2006.

Vd-bytet ska ses i ljuset av att bankens styrelse vill ha ett ökat kostnadsfokus i bankens framtida förvaltning.

“Den expansion som banken har genomfört de senaste åren har inte gett önskvärt ekonomiskt resultat. Kurvorna pekar i rätt riktning, men tillväxten har ännu inte varit tillräckligt stark. Vi måste därför ytterligare förstärka fokus på bankens effektivitet för att nå breakeven-resultat i år”, kommenterar Erik Pensers styrelseordförande Hans-Erik Andersson.

Joachim Spetz uppdrag är att fullfölja den strategiska inriktning som Erik Penser Bankaktiebolag har haft i flera år och att samtidigt få ned
kostnadsnivån, heter det vidare.

Joachim Spetz, nu tillförordnad vd, har fram till nu varit affärsområdeschef för Private Banking och Asset Management inom Erik Penser Bankaktiebolag. Han blir även tillförordnad vd i bankens moderbolag Erik Penser AB.
