Juni första förlustmånaden för asiatiska hedgefonder på mer än ett år

Göteborg (FinWire) Juni månad innebar ett avslut på den 13 månader långa period asiatiska hedgefonder gått med vinst, skriver Bloomberg. Efter att 62 procent av fonderna rapporterat kunde det konstateras att Eurekahedge Asian Hedge Fund Index var ned med 1,3 procent.
Samtidigt så har aktieindexen noterat avsevärt mycket större nedgångar. Mellan 12 juni och 8 juli upplevde kinesiska aktieindex nedgångar med som mest 40 procent, och japanska Topix var ned 2,6 procent under juni.

Även de aktörer som i förväg såg nedgången lyckades inte skydda sig helt. Marco Polo Pure Asset Management noterade en nedgång om fem procent för sin hedgefond med 100 miljoner dollar i förvaltat kapital, trots att man i förväg var inställd på en nedgång i början av juni.
